Passivation
Passivation is the passivation of processed, cut, bent and welded chrome parts against rust. In order for the chrome material, which is described as stainless, to not really rust, it is necessary to prevent its contact with carbon materials and to wash the carbon residues that come into contact with acid.
With the process applied after electropolishing, the stainless product is covered with a protective oxide film in the micron range. In this way, stainless steel regains and preserves its own characteristics. It is protected from oxidation and other external factors.
