Stainless Steel Pickling
Pickling is a multiple cleaning process to prepare welded stainless steel before electropolishing or passivation.
Welding, spot and carbon residues and stains remaining from the production of stainless steel are removed in an acidic environment. There is no residue left on the steel, even in micron size.
It cleans thermal oxides, chrome damaging layers and iron contamination.
